John has arranged The tour of Orkney over 2 days this year,
leaving Gills harbour on the Saturday morning at 09:45 and returning on the
Sunday at 17:00 hrs. The cost of the boat is £20 return per person + £8 return
for the bike (£28 total). On top of that you will need to arrange a B&B for the
Saturday night. Contact John to see what his plans are.
Alternatively you can leave Gills at 09:45 and return at 17:00 on Saturday
night. If you wish to return on the Saturday night check the times with the
ferry operator, but it should be 17:00 hrs, the same as Sunday.

Please let John know if you intend to go along so he has an idea of who to
expect.
Once your on Orkney the full round trip is about 100 miles (over 2 days), but
this can be reduced by taking several shorter loops. The scenery is stunning,
the company is excellent, and the pace is easy, so don't be put off by the
distance.
