Event 1: Hill Climb (Scrabster Hill), 1.5 Miles
Start: Saturday 23rd April, 2pm, by BT
Entrance at bottom of Scrabster Hill
Course: 1.5 mile sprint to top of hill
Finish: By the cottage on the left-hand side
at the top of the hill
Event 2: Loch Calder Hilly Time Trial, 24 Miles
Start: Saturday 23rd April, 4pm, by Thurso
Technical College
Course: 2 Laps of Loch Calder Circuit
Finish: By Thurso Technical College, from 5pm
Event 3: 10 Mile Time Trial - NS32
Start: Sunday 24th April, 10am,
Start on A9 50 yards east of "Welcome to Thurso" sign on south
side of Thurso.
Course: Continue on A9/A882 for 5.071 miles.
Turn 26 yards past the "Wick 15 Miles" sign.
Finish: 400 yards short of start.
Event 4: 27 Mile APR
Start: Sunday 24th April, 1pm,
Thurso (A9) 30mph sign, just past Park Hotel.
Course: Proceed to Watten (A9/A882)
(11.8miles), turn left onto B870, cross B874 (right/left), and
continue on B870 to junction with B876 (Wick/Castletown road)
(16.00). Turn left on B876 and continue to Castletown. Turn left
onto A836 toward Thurso.
Finish: At the end of 50mph
(Θ) sign near the community centre at Murkle (26.08miles).
HQ for all events for signing on, numbers, etc. and for
times, prizes and refreshments after the races, is the Clubrooms, Gerry Square,
200yds from town centre, off Olrig Street, the road west.
Please DO NOT PARK in Gerry Square.
