L2 coaching course –
Inverness 28th/29th March & 20th
June.
A
coaching course has been arranged for clubs within the region. This
is a great opportunity to train up more coaches in the region and
raise the standard of cycling in your club. sportScotland will fund
a minimum of 50% of the course costs and there are other
funding sources through Highlife Highland and the community sports

This weekend see’s the first event in the Cross the Bridge and

East Sutherland Wheelers are organising an event in the spectacular

roadshow – February 2015
Where is your club going? Do you want to develop it? Do you have a
plan in place? Over February I will be setting aside time to come
and visit your club to discuss future development & support. If

Race organiser &
timekeeper training – Inverness 7th & 8th of
March.
A
training event is being planned which will be useful for race
organisers, volunteers and officials in all disciplines. The
following training will take place:
Timekeeper training – time trial/DH, XC and Crit.
Chip timing.
Entry Management System.
Race organiser training: new event.
Race organiser training: improving existing events.
This is a unique opportunity taking place in our region and will
help raise the level of cycling events in the North. Please stay
tuned for further updates and encourage everyone to come along – we
plan to have a practical element to the training with some fun mock
races.
